About Lisa
Lisa A. Phillips is the author of First Love: Guiding Teens through Relationships and Heartbreak. Her insights on teen relationships have been featured on NPR, the TEDx stage, and on a wide range of podcasts and broadcast outlets. She has written about relationships, mental health, and teens for The New York Times, OprahDaily, The Washington Post, Globe Magazine, Longreads, Psychology Today, Cosmopolitan, and other outlets. She teaches journalism and the popular Love and Heartbreak seminar at the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is the author of two previous books: Unrequited: The Thinking Woman’s Guide to Romantic Obsession and Public Radio: Behind the Voices. She lives in New York’s Hudson Valley.
